Hi my name is Kari and I am the Ski Patrol Director and Safety Coordinator at Diamond Peak Ski Resort located in Incline Village, NV on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. This is my second season with Diamond Peak. Prior to moving to the Tahoe area, I was the Risk Manager at SkyPark at Santa's Village in Lake Arrowhead, CA for 3 years and the Patrol Director at Snow Valley in Southern California for the 3 seasons before that. My parents were ski patrollers when I was growing up, however it wasn't until well into my college journey that I discovered a passion for making a career in the ski patrol industry. I credit much of my success to my involvement with the APP early on in my patrol journey. It provided networking and education that otherwise would not have been available through Snow Valley alone. I have also founded Women of Patrol, a non-profit with the goal of encouraging and building up the women who ski patrol or are interested in patrolling.

My goals as President include updating the criteria and study guide to the most current industry standards as well as continuing to help grow the organization to better serve it's members. I am confident in the Board of Directors team and know there are some exciting growth years ahead for APP! I am honored to serve as your President through these next few years.
